NMR Relaxometry Applied to Chemical Studies of Paramagnetic Metal Cation Complexes: Fundamentals and Applications

چکیده

Low field time-domain nuclear magnetic resonance (TD-NMR) relaxometry of paramagnetic metal cations (PMC) has been widely used to study and improve contrast agents for imaging (MRI). However, despite its remarkable potential, TD-NMR is rarely PMC complexes, coordination compounds in non-biomedical application. Therefore, this review aimed provide comprehensive information not only non-nuclear (NMR) relaxation specialists, but also scientists from distinct levels expertise, as a way pave the path modern analytical research complexes. Some fundamental concepts about NMR, mechanism, well traditional methods measure longitudinal (T1) transverse (T2) times constants are addressed. Here, we address some applications analytical, electrochemical, inorganic chemistry, electrodeposition reactions, studies on complexes solution.
